Diwali Laxmi Puja 2021: A Festival Of Lights And Prosperity:

The third and most important day of Diwali's five-day festival is Laxmi Puja. It commemorates the triumph of good over evil and Lord Ram's 14-year return to Ayodhya.

Laxmi Puja is held on the third day of the five-day Diwali festival. It is the day when the goddess of wealth, Laxmi, is worshipped in order to bring prosperity and good fortune.

Diwali, also known as Laxmi Puja, is not only a celebration commemorating Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya and the triumph of virtue over evil, but it is also the new year's day in various parts of India, including Gujarat.

When Mother Lakshmi enters the earth on the night of Kojagari Purnima or Sharad Purnima, according to legend, she utters the word 'Ko Jagrati.' Who is awake is what it signifies. During this time, the mother observes who on Earth is awake. Mother Lakshmi must pay a visit to people who devote their lives to Mata Lakshmi. The significance of Kojagari Lakshmi Pujan is that it is believed that worshipping Kojagari Lakshmi with reverence on the day of the fall full moon removes the native's poverty and keeps the residence prosperous.

Story of Lakshmi pujan:

Lord Vishnu once walked on earth with Mata Lakshmi, according to tradition. Then Vishnu suddenly remembered something. Then he told Mata Lakshmi that he was leaving towards the south and that she should stay here and wait for him. Vishnu then walked away after saying this. Mata Lakshmi paused for a while at that location, waiting for Lord Vishnu. But, given her erratic personality, where was she going to stop? When Mata Lakshmi noticed a sugarcane field nearby, she began walking aimlessly. Mata Lakshmi took a stalk of sugarcane from the field and began sucking it. Then Lord Vishnu reappeared.

When he saw Laxmi ji sucking sugarcane, he became enraged and began yelling, "How did you break the sugarcane and eat it without informing the field owner?" As a penalty for your error, he told you that you would have to live in this farmer's house for the next 12 years and look after him. Vishnu returned to Vaikunth after saying this, and Mata Lakshmi moved into the farmer's house. That farmer became immensely wealthy and happy in a matter of days, thanks to Lakshmiji's favour.

When Lord Vishnu came to call Mata Lakshmi after 12 years, the farmer stopped him. Then Lord Vishnu granted her a blessing, promising that following Lakshmi ji's departure, she would vanish and dwell at your home.
